Plan Upload

The SISfm page mapEnquiry/demo.aspx demonstrates how a SISfm database can be built by uploading plans in DWG format.

It has been developed for possible use on a SISfm SaaS (Software as a Service) website, to provide subscribers with a way to develop an initial SISfm implementation in order to assess how it might suit their needs.

It invites the user to upload site and floor plans as DWG files which must include:

The user interface provides for the entry of the codes and names of new sites, buildings and floors. When a plan is successfully uploaded, these are added to the database together with the buildings or rooms on the plan, and the plan is displayed using Map Enquiry.

Uploaded plans are compiled using the GeognoSIS version of Map Compiler.

The Database module can be used to add and populate additional site, building, floor and room fields.
