Telephone PBX

SISfm can optionally access certain personnel details from an organisation's telephone PBX database, using a match with email address.

If telephone PBX access is enabled then:

• Values of the facility database fields em.em_positn, em.extension, em.fax, em.cellular_number are replaced by the corresponding telephone PBX values, and the PBX speed field is added.
• Staff search on first and last name fields of table em is replaced by search on the corresponding telephone PBX values.
• If the person does not exist or has no department, division or business unit in the facility database (via em.dp_id, em.dv_id, em.bu_id) then the telephone PBX department is used.
• If the person does not exist or has no location code in the facility database (em.loc_code) then the telephone PBX location is used as a location code.
