Installation
To run SISfm requires the following prerequisites on client, administrator, file server, web server and way finder systems, which may be combined or duplicated as required. The database may exist on another system or on one of these.
Desktop Client System
- Web browser (recent version of Chrome, Firefox or Edge)
- Internet connectivity to the Web Server System
Mobile Client System
- Apple device (recent version of iOS) running web browser (Safari recommended)
- Android device (recent version of Android) running web browser (native/Chrome recommended)
- Internet connectivity to the Web Server System
File Server System
- Shared configuration file
- Data folder containing subfolders for map data, room data, photos and report definitions
Cadcorp Licence Server System
- Sentinel WlmAdmin (with Cadcorp network licences; accessed by Cadcorp SIS products via port 5093 by default; alternatively, Cadcorp SIS products may use local licences)
Administrator System
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8
- Cadcorp SIS Desktop
- Cadcorp SIS GeognoSIS OR Cadcorp SIS ActiveX Manager or Modeller (used by the Map Compiler web OR desktop edition)
- ODBC or OLE DB connectivity to facility database
- File read+write access to the shared configuration file
- File read+write access to the data folder
- File read+write access to the Cadcorp SWD files and the datasets which these reference
- File read access to the files (e.g. DWG) which the SWD files reference
Way Finder System
- Cadcorp SIS GeognoSIS OR Cadcorp SIS ActiveX Modeller
- File read access to the Cadcorp BDS route dataset files (in the SWD file folders)
- File read+write access to the temp folder of the SISfm installation on the web server
Web Server System
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8
- Microsoft Internet Information Services 6+
- Role service Web Server / Management Tools / IIS 6 Compatibility.
- ODBC or OLE DB connectivity to facility database.
- IIS virtual directory with read access to the data folder on the file server
- IIS MIME types to serve SVG and SVGZ files, for the Map Enquiry module
- IIS MIME type to serve X3D files, for the BIM viewer of the Map Enquiry module
- IIS Rewrite module, to add HTTP header Content-Encoding:gzip for SVGZ files, for the Map Enquiry module
- Google Chrome, if setting MaintNotifyAttachPdf is configured for the Maintenance module
- File read access to the shared configuration file
- File read access to the data folder
- SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET Framework (32-bit or 64-bit according to the architecture of the worker process in which the SISfm web application runs), for the Report Maker module to generate Crystal reports
- Access to an SMTP mail server (or to SISfm Services) if any of the following are configured:
- Asset Bookings module
- Room Bookings module
- Move Manager module
- Map Enquiry module - Feedback function
- Map Enquiry module - advanced room zone dialog
- Maintenance module
- People Manager - TBA people start notification
Note that it is generally not sufficient to provide IIS with read access to the data folder, because the application also performs filing system operations on data files, therefore the IIS worker process for the application should run under an account which has this access, which will also allow access to a shared configuration file.
