Map Enquiry Home Page

The Map Enquiry inbuilt home page is accessed if MapHomePage is TRUE.

The Map Enquiry inbuilt home page provides location selectors and markers on an Open Street Map display for:

selecting Sites and Buildings, using fields site.city_id and bl.city_id.
displaying Land Parcels and Areas Of Interest, stored in table geo_loc_points.

It requires the following fields populated:

fields state_id city_id in tables site and bl.
fields building_type and status in table bl.
fields lat lon (latitude and longitude) in all of tables ctry state county city geo_loc_points site and bl.

In table geo_loc_points fields site_id bl_id is_land_parcel access_group description:and custom fields defined by the to the MapHomeGeoLocPointFields setting should only be populated for rows with seq_no=1.

An example of the use of field geo_loc_points.sub_series is in land records, where field series_name can be used to store the Volume/Folio Number (e.g. VOL 12543 FOL 800) with field sub_series used to store the Standard Parcel Identifiers (e.g. 2018\PP2475) of that Vol/Fol.

For a given geo_loc_points.series_name sub_series, fields seq_no lat lon define a polygon whose last point is connected to its first if not the same. Multi-loop polygons are currently not supported. Fields lat lon values can be obtained by a double-click/tap on the map (using Show Pin, then selecting it) or from a GIS application, and imported using the Database Manager.

The home page displays thumbnail images named *_1.JPG in its map popups:

for Sites and Buildings:
- see Facility Documents and Images.
for Land Parcels and Areas Of Interest:
- thumbnail images must have a maximum width of 236px.
- the DbDocumentStorage setting is ignored.
- accessed at DataFolderPhoto/thumb/maphome/ctry/state/county/series sub-series_1.JPG (replacing "\" by space) where:
  - DataFolderPhoto is the value of the DataFolderPhoto setting.
  - ctry is the value of field geo_loc_points.ctry_id.
  - state is the value of field geo_loc_points.state_id.
  - county is the value of field geo_loc_points.county_id.
  - series is the value of field geo_loc_points.series_name.
  - sub-series is the value of field geo_loc_points.sub_series.
