The user interface of Map Enquiry is defined using custom files and settings.
Map Enquiry custom files are described in the Custom Files section of the Modules / Map Enquiry topic. If a required file is not present, it is instead accessed under the default custom folder. These files can only be changed if access to the SISfm web server machine is available.
Map Enquiry style subfolders contain files defining alternative styles for menus and some other features. A subfolder named classic is provided, and others can be added. To use an alternative style, in the browser address field append the style querystring parameter specifying its style subfolder name (e.g. style=classic) to any Map Enquiry URL.
Map Enquiry settings can be modified using the config.aspx page (or the Configuration section of the Administrator module) if you have its password.
Alternative settings can be defined by specifying a prefix name, such as TEST. If SISfm is launched with the config querystring parameter specifying a setting prefix (e.g. config=test), it will use alternative settings which have the TEST prefix instead of using the non-prefixed settings. This is a good way to investigate alternative setting values without affecting other users.
For example, try adding the following settings with prefix SIMPLE and launching SISfm with config=simple to see the original Map Enquiry user interface:
