Topology

The Topology utility is a SIS Desktop add-in which adds an IFM Topology group to its Applications ribbon containing:

• Move Node
• Verify Networks

Select Move Node to move Node items, dragging any connected Link items. Select a Node item, then a position to move it to.

Select Verify Networks to verify topological items in utility network overlays. Enter a MapLayerTopo setting value to identify the set of overlays to verify. A dialog displays Map Compiler ERROR: Topology messages for any errors found, or "No messages logged" if there are none.

INSTALLATION

The Topology utility is supplied with SISfm Administrator as (for its default installation location):

C:\Program Files\IFM\SISfm\Utilities\Topology\Topology.dll

To add it to SIS Desktop, create a Windows shortcut file for Topology.dll (or a copy of it elsewhere) in the SIS Custom folder (creating this if necessary), e.g. (for its default installation location):
